This brand new painting took a huge amount of time and materials, it's actually the biggest one I've ever made. A dear friend of mine ordered the painting customized. We thought about it and planned it together and now it's finally finished. It's a triple multi-paneled painting, each canvas is 100x60x4cm in size. After posting my acrylic pouring tutorial on this blog I got asked many questions about my art. One of them was about the mixing of the paint and additives. How much Floetrol do I use? Do I use water and how much? What about the silicone oil? Therefore I made this short video just to show you just one of the many possibilities you have while using this technique. It's helpful to know the basics, some of it is just physics and chemics but don't loose your creativity on overthinking everything. Most of it is experimenting and feeling. Sometimes you just have to do it. I can't give you a detailed recipe for my pouring colours because I don't exactly measure them. Watch the video to get a feeling how it can be done. Did you already read about <pride01> in my pride-month themed blogpost one love ? There's wonderful news from my home country which recently decided to finally pass the same sex marriage law. Members of the LGBTQ community are officially allowed to legally marry in Germany in November 2017. I'm really glad about this news. Pride month is almost over this year and I think it's time to share my recent pride-themed artwork. Another one is about to join this soon. I made this painting (as usual) using the  acrylic pouring technique  but I also used the swiping. I'm thinking about a new tutorial for the swiping technique but today I want to speak about a whole different thing. Pride month ist nun schon bald vorbei, und ich finde, es wird langsam Zeit, dass ich mein neues Artwork mit genau dieser Thematik mal mit euch teile. Es wird auch bald noch ein Weiteres geben. Ich habe für dieses Bild (wie üblich) die  Acrylgieß-Technik  verwendet, aber auch die Wischtechnik.
