For the very first time in my whole life I sold one of my paintings. It's actually not a big deal, it's a small picture, and a small fee but it feels kinda great. I'm so happy and motivated right now. Today I packed up  <molten gold>  and made it ready for shipping. This painting will now move to Chatteris, UK, which I never even heard before but won't ever forget now. Thanks for purchasing,dear buyer, it means a lot to me. Zum allerersten Mal in meinem ganzen Leben habe ich eins meiner Bilder verkauft. Eigentlich ist das keine große Sache, es ist ein kleines Bild und auch nicht teuer, aber es fühlt sich wie etwas Großes an. Ich bin gerade so glücklich und motiviert! <molten gold> is my latest artwork and it's kind of special. I used many different shades of brown and gold but didn't realise that they were very similar to each other. The result is a painting with very low contrasts that looks really dark when hung in the shadow and shiny gold when hung in bright sunlight. <molten gold> ist mein aktuelles Werk, und es ist irgendwie etwas speziell. Ich habe viele unterschiedliche Brauntöne verwendet und nicht darauf geachtet, dass sie sich insgesamt sehr ähnlich sind. Das Ergebnis ist ein Bild mit sehr wenigen Kontrasten, dass im Schatten sehr dunkel aussieht und im Sonnenlicht strahlend golden. Find <molten gold> in my Etsy shop Werbung

Here's just another making of I just created. That's the outcome of me experimenting with silicone oil, Floetrol and acrylic colours. This time I used silicone spray directly on the canvas and poured the rest above it. I only used three different colours (white, turquoise, dark blue) because I wanted to get a special water effect. Did you ever dive on a sunny day and looked up to the waters surface? I love to do this. The sun reflects the water and waves - I tried to get exactly that image here. What do you think? Dieses Mal habe ich Silikonspray direkt auf die leere Leinwand gesprüht und den Rest darüber gegossen. I really like the combination of rich chocolate-like brown shades and warm turquoise. Since I'm really into round shaped canvas and pouring acrylic paintings right now I just wanted to try out this beautiful combination. It worked quite well and even dried quickly in the warm April sun yesterday. I used Floetrol and silicone oil to get a better flow but I still want more and bigger cells in my paintings. Da ich momentan von runden Leinwänden und der Acryl-Gießtechnik völlig begeistert bin, wollte ich diese schöne Farbkombination auch einfach mal ausprobieren. Das hat ziemlich gut geklappt, und es ist danke der warmen Aprilsonne sogar ziemlich schnell getrocknet. What's the best recipe to entirely ruin a cake? Right, it's impatience. Did you ever take a cake out of the oven too soon? You know what happens. Same thing with a fluid coloured painting, I can tell you. Actually impatience is one of my biggest weaknesses, I can't wait for things to be ready. Or dry . That's what happened to my chocolate cake painting. I thought it to be dry, hung it up the wall and came back later just to find it smeary, the colours all running down the canvas. Was ist das beste Rezept, um einen Kuchen zu ruinieren? Richtig, es ist Ungeduld. Habt ihr schonmal einen Kuchen zu früh aus dem Ofen geholt? Dann wisst ihr auch, was passiert. Dasselbe passiert übrigens mit flüssigen Farbe, so viel kann ich euch schonmal sagen. Ungeduld ist echt eine meiner größten Schwächen. Ich kann es einfach nicht erwarten, bis etwas fertig wird.
